May 2023: Tell A Story

Have you had the experience of reading a great book or watching an exceptional movie, so good that you just can't pull yourself away? When you do finish watching or reading, you feel like you've lost a good friend. This is the power that a great story has. Great stories create a strong emotional connection with readers and make your brand more memorable.

In this month's episode we highlight a mail piece that tells a great story. We also show other techniques the mail piece features that draw us into the story.

A great story typically has 5 main parts. Those elements are the character(s) that the story is about; the setting, which is where the story takes place; the problem; the events, which are the important things that happen; and the solution, which your organization helps with.
